Hi there, I’m Fig!

I am an intuitive artist from the mountains of New Hampshire with a big vision, for myself and the world. I am on a path to empower and grow through creativity, so come along the journey with me!

Storyteller

It is our stories that weave us together in the tapestry of life. We are all connected and when we tell our tales, we can heal ourselves and help others. Whether it’s visual art, my illustrated children’s books or the stories I share in my Instagram reels, I love to share inspiring serendipities and stories. You never know how your share can direct another human on their journey.

Community Connector

A strongly bonded community is one of the best ways to share our gifts and ensure security. I have spearheaded many community projects, from The Local Goods Guide to The Vintage Market on Squam Lake (and countless live events, fundraisers, classes and more!) Nothing makes me feel more in my element than combining all colors into the rainbow of collaboration. I do this all to encourage connection around our values to share stories, expression, gifts and growth.

Magic Seeker

Since I was a child, I have always looked for the glittery lining of the dark clouds. So even on the darkest of days (or the sunniest of skies!), I’m searching for the joy and adventure, whether it’s playing in the mountains, flea marketing for treasure or twirling under the moonlight to live music. I like to invite my inner child to come on out and play. :)

Creative Healer

My artistic journey has been a wandering road of self design while gaining awareness of myself through the process. It’s been a beautiful mess! I share my creativity in many forms, from the broken pieces to beautiful brilliance in hopes to inspire others to find their artistic voice. Everything I create, from my home to my shop to my garden, is my autobiography; a safe space for others to express their voice and emotion.

Artist for Empowerment

I want the work I put into the world to encourage connection and reflection. For nearly 30 years I’ve crafted thousands of hand painted signs, designs and paintings to inspire. (You might even know me as Veggie Art Girl, the wearer of many colorful, side hustle hats!) I have designed whimsical fonts and folk art to express my world, my work and wisdom, in service of honoring the whole, bumpy ride of a journey we call life. Really, I just want my art to give others permission to create whatever it is they want to create in their life.
